Old Business:
- Constitutional Committee Report – In November Devin KD5NMX reported that the Constitutional Committee had a chance to look over the club constitution and did find some things that didn’t seem to be in keeping with the current state of the club. Some things he pointed out for future discussion included:
- The meeting schedule wording could be made more flexible with “as designated by membership” or something similar to be able to skip months where meetings may be less productive, such as during the annual picnic.
- The “shall” in “The president shall appoint committees” could be changed to “may” since there are committees that don’t get formed very often or at all.
- The meeting place of the club has changed, so the Constitution should be changed to reflect the change
- The full list of proposals was presented in the December
- The club voted on it in January during the January meeting with Shane motioning, Jim seconding, and the motion passing by a Special Quorum
- Drawing – The custom cup creation offer by RG5RLF was won by Devin KD5NMX
- Towers no word on towers, free items may be available from the estate of Dale Bearden
- Treasurer audit – The audit of the club books was completed successfully Bobbie N5XDQ motioned to accept it, Jim KI5OUZ seconded, and it was approved
- Testing 15th@Sycamore centre. This may be the last local written test
- Arrl will stop doing written tests, going online. Starting in the summer
- Laurel was discussed and they have their own rules
- If anyone local wants to they can look into
